Noob mistake

So, I didn't understand that the folders "disk 1" and "disk 2" combined to form "tower". I thought there was a bit of duplication occuring and causing me to lose precious space on my server. I went ahead and used TeraCopy to transfer the contents of "disk 1" onto the "tower" folder and thought all was well when TeraCopy gave me the notice "source file not found" for every single file. A short 30 minutes later, I checked to see how much space had been freed by eliminating the duplications of files that I thought had somehow been created, when I came to find that all the contents of "disk 1" were now gone. The weird thing is, the file folders still exist, it's just the actual media files that had disappeared (about 1.4Tb.) Can anyone help me find some data recovery software that will help me out of this bind, or if anyone has been brilliant enough to have done this in the past and knows a way to recover my data. I'm running unRAID Server Basic, version: 4.7.

Thanks for any and all assistance.
