January 16, 201412 yr I've been raving about unraid for a while and my mate got a microserver to test it out. I know this must sounds lazy, but can i backup my usb and then use that to setup his unraid box (wilth all my plugins intact!). Then all that's left is to add the drives, folders and plugin setting. I can remember the license file is tied to the usb stick, when plugging it in, will it allow me to revert back to the free 2 disk version? If its possible i use windows, so a program for that would be ideal (would win32 imager work? dont want to corrupt mine!)...if not im sure i could get a ubuntu vm going or something. Cheers
January 16, 201412 yr You can copy the contents to a new flash and then run make-bootable. The new flash will be the free version unless a key is purchased for that flash drive.
