January 17, 201412 yr Guys, anyone using some adapter for putting a 2.5" disk into the Norco 3.5" hot plug carriers? Their cases use an active backplane so the adapter must put the 2.5" disk on the right spot in the carrier in order the disk to fit in properly the backplane - any ideas? Thanks.
January 18, 201412 yr My carriers have holes in the bottom to match up with 2.5" drives so the connectors are in the correct spot. Yours Dont?
January 22, 201412 yr Author I haven't noticed, I have the 4020 standard carriers and they only have holes for 3.5" drives, I think. I will check again and post a picture. Thanks for the hint! For an universal solution, I have found the IcyDock drive converter or a Western Digital IcePack. Eventually a defective WD VelociRaptor might do the job, swapping out the 2.5" drive.
