MySQL Plugin (MySQL5_20130227.plg) will not download

Featured Replies

Hi Everyone,

This is my first post, so sorry if it's in the wrong forum!  I'm attempting to set up a shared MySQL library for XBMC, but am having trouble installing the MySQL plugin to my Cache drive in UnRaid.  I downloaded the the MySQL plugin (MySQL5_20130227.plg) from the following website:

http://lime-technology.com/wiki/index.php/UnRAID5_Plugins

When in Putty, I executed the following command:

installplg /boot/config/plugins/mysql5_20130227.plg

After pressing enter, Putty immediately states the following:

installing plugin: mysql5_20130227
file /boot/packages/mysql-5.5.30-i486-1gds.txz: downloading from ftp://sotirov-bg.net/pub/contrib/slackware/packages/slackware-13.37/mysql-5.5.30-i486-1gds.txz . . .

After waiting about 20 minutes, I get the following message:

bad download, deleting

I tried this three times last night and once again this morning but always get the same result.  Am I doing something wrong?  Is there a way around this?

Thanks!

Sorry, I had missed a small component of the link when transcribing from a photo to the post!  I have corrected the link in the original post, and I tried to open it in a browser as well and couldn't find anything either.  I have included a screenshot of my Putty session below:

Thanks!

Try editing the plugin file with a text editor, and replace the bad location with

http://slackpack.ludost.net/packages/13.37/mysql-5.5.30-i486-1gds.txz

Dunno if it will work, but it's worth a try.

Thanks jonathanm, I will give that a try when I get home tonight!  The fact that your URL is active link in my browser is promising :)

Thanks Jonathanm -- I used your new filepath last night and it worked perfectly!  I was able to get my XBMC shared library all set up last night thanks to your help :)
