January 25, 201412 yr Hi, New install of latest unraid on a setup with 2 disks. 1. 500 GB 2. 250 GB The 2. disk is getting very litle read/writes, and spinns down. I have a few shares, but they are without any included or excluded disc, so I presume it uses both. When browsing the array, I see disk 1, disk 2, my shares, and also the same shares inside disk 1 and 2. But not all...?? I also run Plex, on /mnt/user/plex and this share is present on both disk.. Any ideas? Thank you
January 25, 201412 yr Probably normal.Default allocation will fill disk 1 half full before it starts writing to disk 2. trurl's links take you to more information if you're concerned.

January 26, 201412 yr Disk1 will be 3/4 full before disk2 is used in this case. D'OH! [me=DaleWilliams]signs up for remedial math...[/me] ('cuz the first disk is 500 GB and the second is only 250!)
