January 12, 200917 yr The user share config info is stored on the flash in the config/shares/<sharename>.cfg files. Do these files still exist?
January 24, 200917 yr Author thanks, and silly me. after I restarted the raid system, everything is coming back normal and so far it is working fine. about the share folder. i opened the share folder from my window vista computer, the folder is empty. (flash/config/shares) do I have to take the flash drive out from the unraid computer to read the content inside it every time? Thanks.
January 28, 200917 yr Just so you know. I had this same issue when i first started using unRAID 4.4. This will happen if you create a share in unRAID before making the folders on the disks. I happened to me 3 or 4 times before i realized what was going on.

You just go to the Shares page and create a share - system will create initial folder on a data disk.
