starcat Posted January 28, 2014 Author Share Posted January 28, 2014 Was thinking about which CPU to choose for this board, debating mainly between the LGA2011 E5-2603v2 and the E5-1620v2. Here is a very nice site and comparison: http://cpuboss.com/cpus/Intel-Xeon-E5-2603-vs-Intel-Xeon-E5-1620 I think I am going with the E5-1620v2 as it is definitely more $ for the money, is multithreaded and also there is no need for a SMP capable CPU for this motherboard.
