Hi there,

I'm having an issue with my box. I have a 15-drive rig and just finally filled my last bay. 6 bays are on the MoBo, 8 on an SASLP-MV8, and one on a budget SIL3132 SATA II card - which isn't working.

 

I've been doing a little bit of digging, and I don't even see it in my dmsg.. now I don't really know what I'm looking for, but I don't see SIL3132 anywhere.

 

Anyone have any idea where I should start on this? I don't really know how to troubleshoot hardware under linux.... :(

    Based on the other posts I have found, it would appear this card is prone to failure and errors. I think I'm just gonna pull it and get another SASLP-MV8 because I think I'll be trading up to a 20 drive box soon anyway.
