January 30, 201412 yr I need to add a new 3T drive to the array, which is of version 5.0-rc5. The hard drive was pre-cleared three times, so I assigned the drive to "Disk7" and started to format it this afternoon. An hour later I clicked the "Stop" button by accident and when I took the array back online I realized that the format process might be stopped as the number of "Writes" stopped at "22693" for about an hour when I "refresh" the Main page. As I am not sure about the status of formatting, should I start "data-rebuild" or what else should I do now? I am attaching below the screen shot and the log file. Thanks for your help!
January 30, 201412 yr Author I have run reiserfsck to check the filesystem of disk7 which is the one with problem, and got the report "No corruptions found". Does it mean that the said drive had been formatted successfully so the thing I need to do next is to "data-rebuild"?
