February 2, 201412 yr I know this is probably a little too soon to implement but since the Xen cfg files are pretty straight forward as far as format goes, how hard would it be implement a WebGUI to create VMs from scratch or start/stop a VM without using CLI? I would imagine a user would setup a /Xen and /ISO share then the GUI would have options to set parameters for CPU cores, memory, ISO to use, etc, etc (maybe even PCI assignment once the tools become sophisticated enough) then hit "Create" to make the config file. February 2, 201412 yr I could certainly write a very simple form based page to create a cfg file (suitable for most). And then run a Vm based off if with a button press emulating a CLI command. I can't imagine its too hard to do but would be best as part of the webgui that ships or if not officially supported maybe a dynamix plg. Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
February 3, 201412 yr Author Could we write a xen.page file then upload it the WebGUI master GIT and hopefully Tom will like it enough to include in Beta4 or something? Sent from my LG-VS980 using Tapatalk

February 13, 201412 yr Xen GUI would make many many linux noobs very happy (especially this one) would be great if it were tied into the unRAID GUI somehow... perhaps an extra tab.
February 13, 201412 yr I havent been following all the Xen pages but isnt there hope of using an off the shelf Xen web mamanger for this rather than having to roll our own ad nausium?
February 13, 201412 yr Lack of underlying support for xapi by xen limits us heavily here until it catches up. It's because things only went open source 6 months ago. If this is super important then xenserver and the like are your best bet for noe. Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
