external USB NTFS disk mounting ok but unable to access

Featured Replies

Hi Folks. Thanks for such a great OS. My server is up and running. Installed unmenu ntfs-3g and can see the external uSB drive. Mounted as well in the windows network as a folder but when I double click on the sda1 (ext USB that is ntfs formatted) it asks for password. I put in my root password for unraid and it won't take it. Any suggestions? I tried to reset permissions and tried again with no luck. I can see all contents on unraid as a share in a browser but not as a network folder on a windows computer. I can see it on the windows computer as share but when I double click to open it asks for a user pass. I tried the root user pass and windows user pass but none of them work.
