How do I add a module.ko to the kernal for sensors

Featured Replies

Hi, I need to add the following module.ko files so that I can modprobe the following chips on my board so I can use the sensors.

i2c-amd756  =  i found this .ko file in some slackware distros but could not find a 3.9.11p release

lm85 = same as above - found one .ko file not same release #

i2c-isa = could not find it

Some noob questions - Since these are like device drivers should these work as long as I have the general parameters aligned - i386 architecture, etc...

Also, how would I go about adding them as modprobe and insmod did not work on them?

Thanks for any help you can provide.
