February 7, 201412 yr Summary: This post contains a link to an .ISO you can burn to a CD to boot your computer. This will load the USB drivers so the USB stick will boot. After spending days to get my TYAN K8SD S2882 motherboard to boot reliably and after reading other posts from many people on this site, I have finally got PLOP boot manager to boot from CD and kick it to the USB so my computer starts "like" a newer computer. This allows me to use my USB stick in the "normal" way and I hope this will prevent any issues with upgrades etc... in the future. To give back, I am posting my PLOP based .ISO that can be burned to a CD using any burner program. This will do a direct boot to USB so there is no menu or keyboard input required. It is too big (486KB) to post here so here is a google drive link. https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B21nGuO6GpwPZ0JKUm9Memx4TTg/edit?usp=sharing Thanks to all who have previously posted and helped without knowing it.
