February 9, 201412 yr Hello, in the last Days I noticed that the Mover always wakes my disk1 up. But there is nothing to write to it. When the mover starts, it wakes the parity, the diskx (whre it is actually going to writw to and also disk1. I'm using now 5.0.5. I never noticed this before, but I don't think that it is normal. Any ideas? cu Kyruss
February 9, 201412 yr Hi, jepp, it ist back. Make this change in the mover by editing /usr/local/sbin/mover On the line that reads: -exec rsync -i -dIWRpEAXogt --numeric-ids --inplace {} /mnt/user0/ \; -delete Change to: -exec rsync -i -dIWRpEAXogtO --numeric-ids --inplace {} /mnt/user0/ \; -delete The 'O' is missing (agin). On the second page of Your Link, first Post, it is told that it is already corrected, but the O is gone again. Now is the Question just for me or also on other Servers? cu Kyruss
February 9, 201412 yr According to this post, the O is supposed to be gone, but apparently there are side effects, such as what you are seeing.
