USB key continuous blink

Featured Replies

After starting Unraid array,  I noticed that the LED in the USB key is blinking every second even when there are no other networked PC reading or writing to the Unraid server. This blinking makes me wonder if reading or writing to the USB key is taking place unnecessarily. Is this normal?

I have Snap add on.

I have Xbmc on Raspberry Pi on idle most of the time which is networked to the server.  Maybe this is the culprit.  I will shutdown the Pi tomorrow and see how that goes.

Are you exporting the flash share and does anything on your network map a drive to it?

Flash share is exported. I shall try to disable it.

Would the syslog show what's going on? Like what clients are trying to read or write to the USB key?

The unraid main page will tell you if the flash is being read or written to.
