I was considering replacing my parity drive with a WD Red NAS 3TB drive, and saw a post that stated WD RED's by default do not spin-down (?)  Well that's one of the main reasons I switched from WHS to unRAID.  The question is, If my unRaid is set to spin-down all drives at the 30 minute mark will the WD Red NAS drives NOT spin-down?  Does anyone have any experience with these highly rated drives?

    All 3 of mine spin down at 15 minutes without issues.

    Just added one to my array a couple of days ago. Spins down just fine for me.
