February 16, 201412 yr I'm sure this isn't I unchartered territory, but I can't seem to find what I'm looking for by searching. I would like to swap out my current 250GB cache for a 1TB cache. However, I don't want to lose the settings for Sab/CP/SB/Transmission in the process. What files should I backup for each program to prevent having to start from scratch? I finally have them l behaving the way I want and starting over isn't real appealing. Thanks for any suggestions. TRP Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
February 16, 201412 yr Stop the apps, copy everything from the cache to an array disk, replace the cache and then copy everything back. Everthing should keep working as if nothing changed.

February 17, 201412 yr Not to hijack this thread... but since his question was answered.. does anyone have a cronjob that stops those services and backs up the folders to the array so it has parity?

February 18, 201412 yr Author I have to admit, the best thing to come out of this thread was the info on the cron rsync job. I came looking for an answer to a simple question and ended up getting so much more. Thanks smdionfor asking the question, and jevans04, and by extension DirtySanchez for supplying the expert asnwers!
