February 18, 201412 yr Anyone have any experience with this? Doesn't appear to come with rack ears. Reading the reviews on the Newegg site, one of them mentions that it comes with the rack ears.
February 18, 201412 yr Every time ZyXel has some switch on sale I checkout the reviews. And every model people always complain about them dieing in 6 months or a year or 2 years. RMA was quick and painless, but I'd rather never have to warranty anything in the first place. I've read of much better luck with Trendnet switches. In this case you get what you pay for it seems.

February 18, 201412 yr Yes a switch just needs to work. On 20 cheap giga switches (Dlink, Trendnet, Zycel) I've had 0 issues. So far so good. Oh I have a third Zycel gs1100, a 16 port version too. Sent from my mobile
February 19, 201412 yr Author I had been waiting for the 24 port Trendnet switch to go on sale but at $69.99 for a rack mount switch I had to bite.
February 19, 201412 yr After taxes its $75.24 for me. I'm thinking of pulling the trigger on it, but I've been thinking of going with a Netgear. I've got a few TrendNet switches and they both started acting up after 1 yr of use.
