On the Settings tab of the webgui, you can enable monthly parity checks using the "Scheduler" settings.

I am on 5.0 and have a plus license. I do not see a scheduler option under the settings tab.

the parity chek thing is not in the standard webgui

it is in the dynamix webgui though

 

not sure if that script is still valid as i am using dynamix gui

I'm using the check from unmenu, IF that's the same one then it still works on v5.

Yup. It's called "Monthly Parity Check"

Damn - it took me using the search text feature firefox to finally find it. I don't know why it was such a problem for me to see.

 

Anyways.... I got it installed and set to re-install on every boot up.
