Hey guys, just wanted to know if this CPU will be fine for Unraid....

 

Celeron D 2.66GHz/256/533

 

Its going for a really good price down here in NZ, and i was thinking of buying it....

 

Is the 533mhz, and 256k cache going to be ok?...and do these CPU's run a little less voltage, heat than the others?...

    It will work fine. unRAID is I/O bound not CPU bound.

    I run unRAID on a celeron M 1Ghz with no issues.

     

    If I were paying for a new CPU, I would probably pick a conroe-L
