As titled, if you're currently accessing the shares from a Windows client as one user name, how do you change the user name so you get access to different levels of shares?

Delete any unRAID saved credentials in the Windows control panel.

Same question for anyone with a Mac, you look in 'Keychain Access'.

In addition to the credential manager, try

net use * /delete

to start over with a new login.

 

Also, Windows keeps the login for a machine name, for example, tower, separate from the login for an ip address. So if you connect using tower and then connect using ip address you can have different logins.
