March 5, 201412 yr One of the things about UnRaid is that is just works flawlessly. As a result, I haven't been checking the forums, etc that much in the last year. I'm currently running Version 5.0. But see the latest now is 5.0.5. Do think one should upgrade? Will I see any major differences in anything?
March 5, 201412 yr You mean you're running 5.0 final? Your sig says otherwise. Check the release notes to see what you're missing. Also, 5.0.6 may be just around the corner.
March 5, 201412 yr One of the things about UnRaid is that is just works flawlessly Agree. Tom may be slow with his releases, but he clearly does a very good job of testing them quite well. Will I see any major differences in anything? No -- if your system is running flawlessly now, it will most likely just continue to do so. The exception is if you're using any plugins that may be "broken" in the latest release (e.g. Simple Features is not compatible with the final v5 releases). You WOULD see some major changes if you upgraded to v6, but that's still in Beta and I suspect a good ways away from a final release.
