Web Gui Crashing since 5.0.5 upgrade

Featured Replies

Nothing has changed on my system since upgrading to 5.0.5, yet I continue to have issues with the web gui crashing and the only way to get back up is to reboot the server, a real pain.

I have attached the syslog, hopefully someone sees something that stands out in the log.

Thanks in advance.

Mar 15 15:33:25 Tower kernel: emhttp[7902]: segfault at 0 ip 40231760 sp bf917460 error 4 in libc-2.11.1.so[401b8000+15c000]

If I recall correctly, this typically comes from having a plugin that is loading a libc file that conflicts with a different libc version from unRAID/another plugin.

You have 5.0.5 and the following plugins:

inotify-tools-3.14-i486-1.txz

open_vm_tools-2013.04.16.1098359_unRaid5.0rc16c-i686-28Zeron.tgz

dmidecode-2.10-i486-1.txz

openssh-5.8p1-i486-1.txz

openssl-0.9.8r-i486-3.txz

cpio-2.11-i486-1.txz

webGui-latest.txz:

Crashplan_gui-1.0.9-noarch

btsync_overbyrn

control_panel-ikosa

drive_mount-0.2-noarch-1bw

plexupdater

swapfile

Suggestions:

1. It looks as if you've installed the advanced webgui from unRAID...there's a problem with unRAID 5.0.5 and it is not recommended.  Try removing that first.

2. Look in CONTROL PANEL for later versions of each of the plugins supported by Control Panel...

3. If the problem persists, check the forums for each plugin....either an updated version or comments that 'it doesn't work with...'
