i will try to preclear this drive twice more

shudnt it show error during preclear? if the data cable is causing the problem....

The fact that the speed has been dropped to UDMA/33 indicates there must have been additional drive errors previously.  If you could attach the entire syslog, that may allow better analysis.

It does show a 'Media error' with UNC (UNCorrectable), which is certainly puzzling so soon after a Preclear.  But the later error is a 'lost interrupt', which comes from the controller not the drive.  I suspect some of the previous errors were controller related also.

You will want to Preclear again, but first the interface issues need to be cleared up.  Try connecting the drive to a different SATA port, perhaps a different controller if available.  And attach that syslog.
