March 21, 201412 yr Have sabnzbd & sickbeard running on Win7 PC (not the unRaid plug in) on network. Something is mi-sconfigured though as sab seems to be creating unRaid shares instead of adding folders/files to my /tv share. See screen shot. Not able to delete these "shares" . I am new with sab/sickbeard. Thanks for any help.
March 21, 201412 yr Post screen-shot of the sabnzbd config->folders and sab config->categories. Also include sickbeard config->post processing screen-shot.
March 21, 201412 yr Author will post screen shots later today. Sab and sickbeard on the Win7 box have access to only two shares (my cache drive and TV share) on unRAID system. I dont see how a mis configured Win7 app like sab or SB could create what appears to be new shares on my unRAID system. Thanks.
March 21, 201412 yr If it is writing to the root of the cache drive then that would create new shares for each folder.
March 21, 201412 yr Author trurl, that is a big help. I am pretty certain I configured Sab so it could use "V:" (my cache drive) for temp storage instead of using "V:\[some folder name]" for temp storage. Will confirm later today. Thanks.
March 21, 201412 yr trurl, that is a big help. I am pretty certain I configured Sab so it could use "V:" (my cache drive) for temp storage instead of using "V:\[some folder name]" for temp storage. Will confirm later today. Thanks. You just identified the problem. Whatever folders you (or sab/sb) create on the root of the cache drive is moved to the array by the mover script and as a result creates a new share for each folder. If you use the cache as a temp storage you should use a 2nd level sub folder and set the parent folder as cache only in the GUI or use a "." in the parent folder name (/.temp). After post processing, Sickbeard should move the completed download folders to the root of the cache that matches the name of the share on the array - ex: '/tv/some new show/the season/the show' or however you have your show/seasons configured. That way they are incorporated properly when the mover script runs.
March 21, 201412 yr Author SOLVED I reconfigured Sab to use a folder on my cache drive (instead of the root of cache drive) for temp storage and deleted all of the "shares" that had been created on unRAID box. I should be good to go now. Thanks to everyone for their help.
