Drives 3 - 5 where just added,

 

I set the "Unsorted 2" share for disk 5 but it shows up as disk 2 here

 

This one shows the folder share setting to show its set for drive 5 and not 2 as its showing above. This new share "unsorted 2" was added "after" I added the extra drives also

 

I also leaving the Included disk(s): line blank and it has nothing in the Excluded disk(s):

 

I have also rebooted the box after and no change. I also have a pro copy of the software that allows for more drives than 2 or 3 whatever the limit is on the free version.

Was Unsorted 2 already a share before you added the new drives?

 

What happens if you try to write to \\Tower\disk5\Unsorted 2  ?

 

No unsorted 2 was added after I upgraded my unraid to Plus/put the file on the flash drives conf folder/rebooted, installed the new drives, formatted and brought them online.

 

I just tried to copy 771 GB of files over as a quick test and it tells me "need more space on target drive:768.72GB" and on the main page it tells me I have 2.70 GB free space left for that folder. Even if I make a new share called test and put only put Drive 5 in the Included disk(s): line its still only seeing 2.70GB free space left and drive 5 is empty 1TB drive.

 

The main page sees I have 4TB of free space but I cant seem to be able to use it. What would happen if I format my flash drive and reload unraid on it? Only reason I have not done it is I'm afraid it would change my Flash GUID and I would be out the $70 I just spent to buy this.

 

 

I found out where my issue was,

 

On my Included disk(s): line I had only disk 1 and 2 I removed them now I can use the extra space I just added.

 

Good catch. That one messes with people all the time.
