How do I find out what program has a particular file in use?

Featured Replies

As the title states I'd like to find out what program on my unraid server has a particular file in use on the array. I'm hoping this isn't going to be too far over my head as I'm a real newb at linux.

Any help would be appreciated,

Thanks

From the console page:

fuser -mv /mnt/disk* /mnt/user/*

That will identify what is holding the disk(s) up.

There are lots of other useful commands on that page so check it out!
