Help! Can ping/telnet but can't access Web GUI or through Windows Explorer

Featured Replies

Hi,

My unRaid server is running 5.0.5 with Dynamix and has suddenly stopped allowing me to connect to it.  I was able to connect/browse to it fine the other day and when I booted it up today I am unable to connect.  I made no changes to anything in unRaid.  I thought it was Microsoft Security Essentials because there was just an update for that but I tried uninstalling it and still nothing.  I can ping/telnet but can not access it through the Web GUI or Windows Explorer.  I am using Windows 7 64 bit on both computers.  Any idea what is wrong?

Thanks!

Do you have a keyboard and monitor you can use on the server?

No, I do not.  I could move and try to get one hooked up though.  I attached my syslog if that helps.

syslog.txt

Too bad you don't have the latest Dynamix installed, since it now includes the latest powerdown package. I don't know what the problem is but you can probably do a clean shutdown and reboot from telnet.

What do you get when you type this at the command line?

which powerdown

I typed in powerdown earlier and it did shutdown my server so I am able to do that.  I'm not sure where to go next now though.

Log shows a late start of the Ethernet, also shows the Dynamix system stats may be hung on the install since it is not showing the installed header like the others. No processing of the go script or anything related to the array in the syslog and the last entry of the log was two minutes after the attempt to load the Dynamix system stats plugin.  Remove your addons and reboot.  If you still fail to get the unRAID GUI then post a new syslog.  If it works, delete the Dynamix plugind and download fresh.

Thanks so much!  Deleting the plugins and then booting it up worked!
