went from 5.0b16 to v5 config not showing

Featured Replies

So I updated my 5.0b to v5.05 because all the air video package download links were down in unmenu, I reformatted my flash copied the new files and made the flash bootable, I then copied the old config folder from my back up of the original flash, I boot it up and BOOM none of my drives are showing, its only showing the ability to add 2 drives which are not assigned. Can someone please help me?? I hope I didn't just lose 18TB of data trying to get AirVideo to work as one of the new plugins. Thanks in advance

Did you also copy your registration key to your flash drive after formatting it?

yea its the Pro1 key in the config folder I believe.

so I am hoping that if I get the key to be recognized and I reassign all the drives in correct order with the parity drive the array should be up and running again? I don't have any shares set so each drive just stores its own data, and I am using the same flash as before.

Sounds like it did not recognize either the flash drive itself, or the config folder on the flash.  As always, please attach a syslog, zipped if necessary.  By the way, did you make sure the flash drive was labeled UNRAID?

was something with my flash drive and backup config file not reading the pro key right, reformatted and redownloaded and we are good to go.
