Anyone want to have a go at making a new package plugin for unmenu to install pyTivo?

I have not clue as to how to do this.

Thanks

I have never actually built a static package like you require.. someone would need to create one.. it looks like the script you are requesting depends on the following (taken from the pytivo website):

A Python interpreter

FFmpeg

The pyTivo script

The Python Imaging Library -- if you plan on using the photo plugin

each of these may include(and probably do) dependencies which are not present on a stock unraid.  As a result, you will need someone with a development system to compile a special purpose static package for you to use(which includes all dependencies).  Once you have one of these packages, I would be happy to program a .conf for you.

Additionally, if you find that a collection of standard slackware packages will install all the appropriate software and come up with a list of things that need to be installed and configured to have a WORKING version of the program, I will happily make the .conf for you.

I don't have a development system at this time to be able to help you out with making a package, nor do I have a tivo to test with to ensure that any .conf I make will work for you.

Cheers,

Matt

Has anyone made a pytivo plugin by chance?
