April 6, 201412 yr As the title says, late Thurs night I had just gotten a Win7 VM setup and was manually copying the contents of my "Domains" (cache only) share to the array when all of a sudden my connection to the server and all of my VMs (2 instances of Ironic's Arch VM and 1 of his owncloud VM and the win7) dropped. I checked my router and everyone had dropped as active DHCP leases / connections. At the time I was ssh'd into both arch instances and the Server and all said something like - connection closed by host. I tried the webgui and got "unable to connect," I tried ssh'ing back into the Server and it would connect, but any command I enter would result in the connection dropped by host message and the command wouldn't go through - I know this because while I manage it headless, my server is in fact plugged into my TV and I had the console image up. The kicker to all of this has and still is that I can ping the Server and it responds. None of the VMs respond. But, neither the Server nor any of the VMs show as active on my LAN per my router. The delay for the last two days has been trying to source a keyboard to plug into this thing so I could get to the console interface. However, when plugged in neither my wireless keyboard (tried Friday) nor wired keyboard commandeered from my work are recognized by my Server. The server remains unresponsive and is sitting at the login screen. I've got 8 USB ports (7 when you exclude the unraid flash) of which 6 are USB3.0 and the keyboards haven't been recognized on any of them. So my long ramble (sorry!) gets me to two questions: 1. wtf is going on? 2. htf can i get logs? TL; DR - webgui, shares, ssh and DHCP lease per router gone...but can ping Server; usb keyboards aren't recognized so can't get logs.
