April 9, 201412 yr Hey, I have an issue with my VM, it's a fresh copy, and it has worked before. I've been messing with the network config because of my plex DLNA issue.. but i think i have messed up the bridge in general. The VM doesn't seem to get out to the localnetwork at all anymore. I have tried activating and re-activating the br0 in the settings/network in unraid CP, but to no avail. Any help is appreciated I think i just need to reset my whole network config.. or something. == Solved: I changed the MAC address on the VM to something different, router problem satans!
April 9, 201412 yr Have you eliminated the usual network problems that might apply whether you are using VM or not, such as DHCP, DNS, IP address conflicts? I'm pretty much a noob with some of this, but does xl console <vmname> require the bridge or can you get in that way and would that even be useful for further troubleshooting?
April 10, 201412 yr Author I rebooted, and finally changed the MAC address on the VM so my guess is that it was a router issue. Anyway, my TV still won't received the DLNA broadcasts for some reason.
