If this link http://thepcenthusiast.com/wd-green-4tb-wd40ezrx-now-available/ is reliable they have the wrong speed on the add.  It is only a sub-6000rpm drive.

... It only has a variable sub-6,000 RPM spindle speeds with 64MB cache...

The link is about WD40EZRX, and Microcenter page says: Mfr Part# WDBH2D0040HNCNR

...although I can not find any details about this WDBH2D0040HNCNR

I think what we are seeing right now - multiple sales of 4TB drives - is vendors reaction on Toshiba 5TB drive reached the market.

Which is what the picture at MicroCenter says the drive actually is:

But as I said if the link can be believed.  Reviews have mistakes too!.

Heh... you are right, I've somehow missed the picture. But wait... Picture could be wrong, too!  ;D

(after consideration) Nah, I won't drive 15 miles to Microcenter just to satisfy my curiosity. I'll better drive 10 miles to Fry's to pick up another 4TB HGST!  ;D

WD does NOT make a 7200 rpm green drive.  The EZRX is a 5400rpm unit with 1TB/platter areal density.

Still a good price -- if you want to use a green drive.    Personally, I use only Reds.

Totally agree.  Just wish I had Fry's nearbuy.

Seems like they've changed it back to $6 shipping...

Description has changed, too. Now it says "IntelliPower" instead of 7200rpm. "IntelliPower" is WDs buzzword for "Somewhere between 5400 and 7200 rpm. But WD is not telling.".

I don't really think it's variable RPMs, although the word kinda suggests it.

Got this drive today. BobPhoenix is right, it's WD40EZRX.
