(after consideration) Nah, I won't drive 15 miles to Microcenter just to satisfy my curiosity. I'll better drive 10 miles to Fry's to pick up another 4TB HGST!

April 9, 201412 yr WD does NOT make a 7200 rpm green drive. The EZRX is a 5400rpm unit with 1TB/platter areal density. Still a good price -- if you want to use a green drive. Personally, I use only Reds.

April 21, 201412 yr Author Seems like they've changed it back to $6 shipping... Description has changed, too. Now it says "IntelliPower" instead of 7200rpm. "IntelliPower" is WDs buzzword for "Somewhere between 5400 and 7200 rpm. But WD is not telling.". I don't really think it's variable RPMs, although the word kinda suggests it.
