SSD Cache and S3 Sleep. Does it work?

I am playing with the thought of switching my Cache HDD with an SSD of the same size.

 

There is only one question i ask myself. I use the S3 Sleep script which comes with dynamix and it works just fine. It detects that the Cache drive (and the array drives) spindown and than sends the Server to sleep.

But there is no "Spindown" with an SSD. Does the SSD send a similiar signal to unRaid when it has nothing to do for an certain amount of time, or will the SSD cause insomnia to my Server.

 

Maybe someone who has an SSD and uses S3 can give me an advice.
