Web gui unresponsive, HDDs not spinning down

Featured Replies

I am getting frustrated at 2 things that keep occurring:

1. HDDs not spinning down. I have plex library/temp on disk1 only. In the past, all drives would spin down except disk1. Now none of them spin down anymore. Disk settings are default 15 minute spin down delay.

2. For whatever reason lately, at least once or twice a week, the webgui (//tower/main) page just decides not to load. I have to telnet into the system, do a clean powerdown and reboot. It's getting old. Note: I am running the Dynamix gui, but the unresponsive issues have occurred even with the default gui.

What can I do through telnet and what information can I extract/view to understand what are causing these issues?

Running version 5.05 with Dynamix

Attach a syslog collected after the problem occurs. See SYSTEM LOG in my sig.

System log was generated via console right after the webgui became unresponsive

(edit...I dated the log wrong...so I can see the confusion. It was generated today)
