[SOLVED] v6b4, not seeing drives have been precleared.

Featured Replies

I am receiving this message when trying to start the array. I just finished pre-clearing the drives.

Clear will completely clear (set to zero) the new disk(s). Once clear completes, the array may be Started, expanding the array to include the new disk(s).

Caution: any data on the new disk(s) will be erased! If you want to preserve the data on the new disk(s), reset the array configuration and rebuild parity instead.

Attached are the reports from the script that I ran in screen.

EDIT: Clean syslog after reboot is attached.

I raised this issue a few weeks ago and JoeL ended up having to update his preclear script to fix it. It is now at v15 which properly supports 64-bit UnRAID.

Download the latest preclear and re-clear the disk and you should be fine.
