January 28, 200917 yr No issues, serves well, very low power consumption, using with TX4 promise.... Gigabit works well, only 2 gigs max though but enough for unraid! I love this little board, it only uses 30w and DC 12v on my server with DC to DC.
January 29, 200917 yr 30W? With how many drives idle? Lowest I got was 35 Watts with a celeron M processor, 1GB ram and 5 hard drives idle.
February 6, 200917 yr I've got one of those boards I'm using in a modded jukebox, with a 30g SSD for storage (large speakers + unshielded cabinet + magnetic hard drive = no music). Works great, and is probably WAY more than I need for what it's doing. Super low power consumption tho..
February 6, 200917 yr 30W? With how many drives idle? Lowest I got was 35 Watts with a celeron M processor, 1GB ram and 5 hard drives idle. Likely just one. The following machine already uses ~27-28W idle and per specifications, the hard drive I installed only consumes 1W. Intel D945GCLF2 Kingston 2GB DDR2 800 CL5 Seagate Momentus 5400.4 250GB Samsung Slim DVD SN-S082H Besides, the most you can use without adding a PCI SATA card is 4 drives (2xSATA, 2xIDE).
February 6, 200917 yr Webo, are you measuring PSU out or in? At that wattage, the PSU power factor can hose you, even with an 80 Plus certified PSU, since that low wattage is outside the spec range of the 80-Plus performance. I was able to get my TA690G with AMD BE-2400 down to about 22 Watts measured at the PSU output, with 3 WD Green drives spun down, underclocked and undervolted, and fans controlled with PWM. But it was over 30 Watts at the wall.

Power supply is a seemingly efficient DC-DC board and external 60W brick. I have no way of testing the actual efficiency of the power supply, but the same system connected to a regular 300W ATX PSU (unknown efficiency) drew 45W.

Remember, it's a celeron-m 1gz with an SODIMM chip, laptop drive and a compact flash. So for what it is, it's pretty loaded.
March 6, 200917 yr Can you copy a 3+ GB file to the unRAID machine, and then open up a cmd prompt and run fc /b on the copied file to verify if it copied properly? I'm getting data corruption on my D945GCLF2/TX4 300 combo.
