I set up a spare license i had at my parents house to handle media and downloads but they have decided they no longer want to do any of the downloading and just want it to host the content they already have. I have a need for the Plus license they are currently using so im curious if there is a way for me to move them from Plus to Basic without them losing any data?

 

My initial thought was to copy everything that is currently on that drive onto a new one and remove the license file and see what would happen but i would rather get the correct route from you all before trying anything like that.

If there are 2 or less data drives then the free version can be used. Prepare a new flash and then assign the disks. First take a screenshot of unRAID main to record the correct drive assignments.
