Wake on Lan not working since upgrade to 4.4.2

Featured Replies

Hi,

Bit of a strange problem this as I can't see how this has been introduced simply by upgrading unRaid, but here goes...

I was using wake on lan with no problems on unRaid 4.3.3.  Since upgrading to 4.4.2 it no longer works.  WOL is enabled in the bios, and I have used the command:

ethtool -s eth0 wol g

which successfully worked for the next boot sequence.  After that it no longer worked.  Do I need to add this line to my go script?  Why would I need to do this? - can somebody explain to me the interaction between unRaid and WOL, since I was led to believe that it was strictly a bios function.

Any ideas?

Cheers, Matt.

After that it no longer worked.  Do I need to add this line to my go script?

Yes, you have to do it after every boot.
