April 24, 201412 yr Hey Im curious if I can run Ember Media Manager on the cache drive of unraid? http://forum.xbmc.org/forumdisplay.php?fid=195 Main purpose is to be able to have control of the program from different computers incase not in same room as main one and be able to update image database and what not. Here is the one thread where DanCooper was saying best to run from local/nas server...but we werent sure if unraid would be able to. http://forum.xbmc.org/showthread.php?tid=192977 If so is it just a matter of tossing the whole program folder into the cache disk? thanks

April 25, 201412 yr Author Hmm copied over the program folder and it tried to open but it didn't open properly. Didn't seem like it found the directory. Maybe will try putting fresh install on.
April 27, 201412 yr Author Try creating a shortcut and also fill in the "Start In" field. Elaborate more please. Thanks
May 8, 201412 yr In Windows you can createa shortcut to the applications and in the shortcut properties you can enter the start in parameter.
November 16, 201411 yr If you can get EMM to work on the cache drive, a really nice enhancement would be storing the .nfo's and artwork on the cache drive too to stop the necessity of spinning up the array to display the catalogue My EMM catalogue has over 50,000 items in it, I'm not sure how fast it would be pulling the catalogue files back to the head unit on gigabit.
