Can't control fans on a new mobo

Featured Replies

Hey guys,

I'm a new unRaid user and I got to say it is a fantastic piece of software, couldn't be happier!

Now, I've recently built a brand new machine with new hardware (except for the drives), which is based on:

Gigabyte GA-F2A88XM-D3H with AMD A4-5300 and 4 GB DDR3

Like I said, I'm new on this software but from what I read on the forums pwmconfig should be the place to start to manage the fans of the box, however it says "There are no pwm-capable sensor modules installed". How is that possible? This is a pretty recent motherboard and it is possible to control the fans via BIOS and I'm pretty sure there's a software for windows that allows to do it as well.

Can anyone advise me?

Thanks,

Joel
