Booting unRAID via UEFI?

Featured Replies

Is it at all possible to get unRAID to boot via UEFI?

I don't see why not. This should be easy to test, but I don't have a UEFI board to test with.

Well, I tested it just now. Even with a GPT-partitioned device I couldn't boot via UEFI, so I'm guessing that syslinux is somehow incompatible.

you need a version 6 of syslinux or grub2 to boot from uefi

Out of curiosity, what version does the unRAID installation bundle ship with?
