Xen 6.2 and Unraid 5.0.5

Featured Replies

Hello everyone,

I followed the great guide provided by grumpybutfun ( http://lime-technology.com/forum/index.php?topic=30719.0) and successfully installed Xenserver 6.2 with unraid 5.0.4 as a guest. I am using pass-through for 2 HBA's and my unraid stick and have no problems running it at this time.  I tried to upgrade my setup to 5.0.5 and the unraid VM boots but my Intel 82574L is not been recognized.  It appears the system is trying to load a Realtek driver for my card which is incorrect.  On my VM running 5.0.4 the system does not add any modules for the card, I am guessing that is already included in the kernel.

I am also wondering if the VHD provided by grumpybutfun for 5.0.4 has a kernel that is Xen aware and the one from stock 5.0.5 is not.

I am wondering if anyone else is having this problem.

Thanks,

PS. My hardware is the same one as the ATLAS build in the forum.
