UnMenu stops running while UnRaid works?

Featured Replies

Hey guys,

Sometimes I can access my unRaid:  http://tower/

While UnMenu won't respond:  http://tower:8080/

This can even happen between page loads - like I'm surfing around the unMenu interface and it dies.

Since Tom's run out of file space, my syslog is on my webserver:  http://www.russellschutte.com/syslog.txt

Any ideas what might cause this or how to fix it?

Thanks,

Russell

Is there, perhaps, a way to reinitialize the UnMenu (I presume a webservice) from the console or Telnet connection?

Thanks,

Russell

from telnet you could check if unmenu is running with; ps -ef | grep uu

root@Fileserver:~# ps -ef | grep uu
root     21171 21159  0 20:31 pts/1    00:00:00 grep uu
root     31620       1   0 Jan27 ?          00:00:00 /bin/bash /boot/unmenu/uu

If you only see the 1st line than unmenu is dead, you can restart it with; /boot/unmenu/uu

Hope this help!

Mike
