May 4, 201412 yr Here's my log from trying to get plex working. Hopefully someone will know what's wrong. plex.txt
May 4, 201412 yr You might have better luck on the PLEX forums, or start with a clean install. ..about all I can tell is, there's something wrong with your plugins-which don't appear to be installing... could just be an initial install gone awry. If you don't have a lot of shows in your database, Id start over with a clean install. If you have a ton o' movies, etc., in an existing PLEX database, there is a way to save that stuff. Where is your PLEX program and database? On a cache drive?

Also there's no help at all over on the PLEX forums.
May 4, 201412 yr Yeah. I'm afraid the Plex forums aren't as popular as ours. So if you want to be sure you're starting fresh, shut down unraid, put the flash in your pc, Run chkdsk on the flash (Disk Utility on the mac) just to be sure there are no file system errors on the flash. and then delete anything with 'plex' or 'pms' in its filename. (ON my flash, I have: /config/plugins/plexmediaserver /extra/plexmediaserver *most* of the plex stuff is in that first folder...) You probably don't have anything else. put the flash back in unraid and reinstall Plex.
May 4, 201412 yr Author I got it to work. I was having a permissions problem when it would try to create the plex library on disk1. So a few things I did... created /boot/packages (inserted PMS here) modified the /boot/config/go file to install plex from packages folder created disk1/apps (instead of using the preexisting applications folder) deleted everything in /disk1/applications and I think that was it...
