Do you use a cache drive?

What third party plugins do you use?

No I don't have a check running in the middle of the night.

It's unRAID telling you to go to sleep....

How about something else loading down your network at night?

(not unRAID)

Crashplan, or some such thing.

Yeah,  I thought of that.  And I shut down all pc's/clients on the network.  Nothing seems to make a difference.  I have just, today,  moved to the last version of UNRAID from the rc version.  I am hoping that this might help.

Since,  no one has pointed out to me a 'schoolboy' error,  I will now refocus again on other areas not related to UNRAID.

(I had also previously turned off all Windows updates).
