sab email notification - can't stop them

I have Sab & sickbeard running on Win 7 PC.  I turned on sab email notifications just to see if it would work.  It works great.  Too great.  Now, I cannot stop the emails  (I've reduced their number by only getting emails for completed jobs).  i blanked out all email related settings on the config window, saved the config, stopped and restarted sab (a few times) but the emails keep coming.  Any ideas?  I could create a filter in my email to move all sab email notifications to trash but i'd rather not do that.  thanks.

    Chrome (Android)
    1. Tap the lock icon next to the address bar.
    2. Tap Permissions → Notifications.
    3. Adjust your preference.
    Chrome (Desktop)
    1. Click the padlock icon in the address bar.
    2. Select Site settings.
    3. Find Notifications and adjust your preference.
