squirrellydw
Anyone with Apple TV want to test out this new PlexConnect plugin, let me know if it actually works because I have no way to test this. Here (right-click saveas) I will test it out in a few days, probably Wednesday or Thursday when I have some free time. Thanks for taking the time to make it. Can I suggest you post it in the first page so I can find it please. Quote Link to comment
ootuoyetahi
Does the version 2 subsonic plugin have sslv3 disabled? EDIT: It appears it does not have SSLv3 disabled. Any idea how someone could do this? With the poodle vulnerability out there it would be nice to have this disabled sooner rather than later. Thanks! Quote Link to comment
alxscott
Hi Phaze, If you have a couple spare minutes don't support you could look at this LMS plugin?! It was originally by Overbryn; and over the years I've managed to tweak it and keep it compatible with LMS changes and unRAID changes... However.com, although i'm ok with the 'bash' side of plugins; I've never been able to get my head around the http side. With the new GUI; its still functional from the CLI; just not the webpage. Don't suppose you could get the webpage back from the dead? Many Thanks Alex Can you try this and let me know if that worked? I'm just about to shoot out for the evening; but I'll try first thing in the morning and let you know... Thanks again in advance! Thanks for the time Phaze; the plugin setting page opens; but theres a few bits missing... Quote Link to comment
PhAzE
If you open the plg file in wordpad, near the top you will see that file name, dots it day 1.1 or 1.0 there? If it says 1.0, your plg file may be outdated (but still should have worked). I'll give it a try tomorrow though to make sure. Hi PhAzE, I downloaded the plugin from the links in the first post immediately before installing, at the time it looked like you'd updated them ~6 hours earlier. Here're the details, something doesn't seem quite right. Looking through the plugin it appears like this shouldn't have worked, I'm guessing my manual copy should of the Control file zip should not have worked, as the file name and hash didn't match. Here's a snip from: /boot/config/plugins/Plexmediaserver.plg <!ENTITY plgVersion "2015.02.21.1"> <!ENTITY pluginURL "https://github.com/PhAzE-Variance/unRAID/raw/master/Plugins/Plexmediaserver.plg"> <!ENTITY controlFILE "&name;-PhAzE-Control-1.1.tar.gz"> <!ENTITY controlMD5 "e9e9ed809fa98d7380e99c61fd13c1eb"> <!ENTITY controlURL "https://github.com/PhAzE-Variance/unRAID/raw/master/AppSupport/&name;/&controlFILE;"> Contents of /boot/config/plugins/Plexmediaserver/ root@Tower:~# ls /boot/config/plugins/Plexmediaserver Plexmediaserver-PhAzE-0.9.11.12.869-ab1cd47-x86.txz* Plexmediaserver-PhAzE-0.9.11.12.869-ab1cd47-x86.txz.md5* Plexmediaserver-PhAzE-Control-1.0.tar.gz* Plexmediaserver.cfg* Yea that's what had me stumped, the code is designed to delete files of the wrong name and hash, then it downloads the proper ones and installs them. I'll definitely investigate later today. Tested on fresh VM, seems the plugin installs perfectly normal. Super weird. Quote Link to comment

I don't think i can do that from my plugin, it sounds like something the Dev has to implement. Quote Link to comment
Jamesdrive
PhAze, I was trying to download the Plugin and got the error on the install that not enough space. how do I configure it to download to Cache Drive and install on Cache Drive? Just to see if everything would work today I just tried running another installplg on the plugin, latest version the same one that was already in the folder. All went ok (just the mkdir error in installplg on line 29). Plex was still installed and running, and it's replaced v1.0 of the control zip with v1.1 as expected. I also tried a stop/start using the web interface and terminal (/etc/rc.d/rc.Plexmediaserver stop & start), and all is ok. Weird, but good. Thanks for your help. Quote Link to comment

Thanks James If you have any other plugins installed you need to set the install directory to /mnt/cache/apps/appname or something similar, then reboot. If you don't have a cache drive you can use /mnt/disk1/apps/appname. Quote Link to comment
dikkiedirk
I currently use sabnzbd plug-in version 1.52. What is the easiest and most foolproof way to upgrade to the V2 version? Or is there only one way, like mentioned in the OP? Do I need an apps folder? I have sabnzbd installed in mnt/cache/.sabnzbd. Quote Link to comment
PhAzE
No need for an apps folder. Unraid 5 just replace the plg file with the new one and reboot. Unraid 6 you can do that or use the plugin manager to install it. It has code to upgrade the old plugin folders so it's pretty much automated. Quote Link to comment
squirrellydw
getting ready to test Plex Connect and I'm trying to change the port on my server. This is in my Go script but it's not working. After I rebooted it still goes to http://tower:8080/unraid_main #!/bin/bash # Start the Management Utility /usr/local/sbin/emhttp -p 8085 & cd /boot/packages && find . -name '*.auto_install' -type f -print | sort | xargs -n1 sh -c /boot/unmenu/uu Quote Link to comment

Your go file is changing the unRAID webGUI port to 8085 and also starting unMenu. If you go to http://tower:8080'>http://tower:8080 you will get unMenu. If you go to http://tower:8085'>http://tower:8085 you will get the unRAID webGUI. If you go to http://tower you will get what, if anything, is using port 80. What are you trying to do? Quote Link to comment
PhAzE
It's fine because unmenu uses 8080 and the original unraid GUI uses your new port. The main goal was to get the default unraid GUI off port 80. Should be good to go. Quote Link to comment
squirrellydw
Ok, so I really don't need to change anything then right? What happens if I decide to upgrade to version 6, will that mess anything up? Quote Link to comment
PhAzE
Well on unraid 6 you won't want to use unmenu anymore so I'd recommend a clean install anyways. Quote Link to comment

Many of the packages in unMenu PKG manager are not available for 64bit but otherwise it can still be useful and has a few features still not available with Dynamix. Quote Link to comment

PhAzE
Change the web port and SSL port then start it and see if it stays on. Quote Link to comment
squirrellydw
OK, changed the ports to 8085 and 440 and it is running but my Apple TV isn't connecting now. I didn't change anything on the ATV, it was working before when I had it setup and running on my Mac Mini so not sure if I need to do anything else. Quote Link to comment
PhAzE
OK so put the SSL back to 443, see if it stays on. If so, you have something using port 80 still. Quote Link to comment
squirrellydw
yup, just did that. 443 is fine, 80 is causing the problem. I have unmenu running and I think that uses 80. Quote Link to comment
PhAzE
Unmenu usually used 8080 but its still possible. When you go to your servers http://serverIP:80 what does it show? Quote Link to comment
