[PhAzE] Plugins for Unraid 5/6

Recommended Posts

I just upgraded my emby server from within the plugin settings page to version 3.0.8000 and now the server will not start. It goes through all the motions like it is starting but the plugin settings page refreshes and the status is STOPPED. The Activity log says starts okay but emby isn't running.

PhAzE,

I followed the instructions by the letter, and still does not work. I am sorry  :-[

Just a quick follow up. After failing using Docker for Plex (unable to find the proper path for the Plex libraries), I have decided to install a dual 250 GB SSD as cache and to have Plex installed on it. On the bright sight side, Plex restarts automatically after a reboot, the main problem have been the necessity to rebuilt the whole Plex database. But now the Plex database  is protected against loss by a Raid1 cache (if I understand the documentation right).

Not having raid1 cache cannot be the reason the plex database had to be rebuilt. The only possible reason for this is incorrect configuration. Plenty of people have plex, docker or plugin, with only a single cache drive (or even none) without losing their plex database.

PhAzE,

Not sure if this is an issue with the sickrage plugin or CA but just FYI I posted this in the CA thread regarding an issue with the Sickrage plugin install through CA.

Has to be fixed by PhAzE.  Error in the template (maybe my original fault a year ago when I created them for him) for sickrage pointing to the sickbeard.plg

Hi,

I'm considering to start testing and using Resilio Sync. Looking at different alternatives for unRAID, I've found just outdated dockers, and Phaze's plugin. Is there any reason or advance of using a plugin vs a docker? I know about security and reliability differences between both things, but I also know dockers use to be trickier to setup and with permissions and such. So, is that the reason to have it as a plugin? Is is reliable and safe to use?

Thank you :)

So i've finally decided to switch from SickBeard to Sonarr. But when I try to install the plg both using the file and using the github link i'm getting errors.

This is what the popup window shows

plugin: installing: https://github.com/PhAzE-Variance/unRAID/raw/master/Plugins/Sonarr.plg
plugin: downloading https://github.com/PhAzE-Variance/unRAID/raw/master/Plugins/Sonarr.plg

Installing Sonarr plugin

Check OK!
Downloading new control file
Download OK: Control file passed MD5 check
Downloading new dependency file
Download OK: Dependency file passed MD5 check
plugin: run failed: /bin/bash retval: 2

And this is what is showing on the unraid terminal

/tmp/Sonarr-script: line 330: syntax error: unexpected end of line

Any ideas?

They will work basically the same and it's as safe to run the plugin as a docker.

I'm not able to replicate this error, it seems to install fine for me.  Try running this from command line:

installplg https://github.com/PhAzE-Variance/unRAID/raw/master/Plugins/Sonarr.plg

See if that installs it (although it should be the exact same since this is what the web gui runs essentially).

Any idea how SubSonic can be upgraded to 6.0?

Would anyone know how to get Subsonic updated to the latest 6.0 version?  Or is it even possible using the [PhAzE] plugins?

Thanks

I just installed this plugin fresh and 6.0 gets installed.  What version do you see currently installed?

From command line run: /etc/rc.d/rc.Subsonic latestversion

That should say 6.0. I'll also need to know the unraid version you are running.

I am seeing:

Installed Version:5.3

Plugin Version: 2016.09.17.1

I am still using unraid 5.0.6

When I run that command I see nothing.

root@Tower:~# /etc/rc.d/rc.Subsonic latestversion

Got the same error message about a certain line error in the Sonarr-script. So I deleted the script and tried again...hey presto it worked!!

I understand it is command based as I have used it before but I was not sure exactly how your plugin worked. Do I call it from sickrage or from deluge? I was not sure how people commonly use it within unraid. I was hoping to switch to sonarr but it does not unrar and it looks like filebot can do all that for me. Is there a guide to help me get started? I am pretty new to unraid but not completely new to linux or filebot. Thanks for the help. If I need to start a whole new thread for this I can.

Deluge has a plugin that automatically unrar's for you when the torrent finishes.

I use Sonarr to keep track of all my series, hooked up to Deluge (I use a seedbox) and an sshfs volume directly to my seedbox so Sonarr thinks it's local. It then moves the file to my media center (emby) after renaming it and emby takes care of series info/images and so forth.

I then use Couchpotato for movies with a similar setup going to Emby.

Sickrage sucks

  • 2 weeks later...

Anyone else's Plex reset their server settings and default name to TOWER after a restart of the docker app? I was trying to install some channels and just did a simple start/stop of the plex docker and now when I start plex it says i need to "reclaim" my server as it's been renamed to TOWER. My library exists as such untouched except my server settings have all been reverted to default and my friends access settings revoked as well.

Any reboot results in a broken setup until I reopen outside network and assign shared libraries :/
