Cache drive 100% full all of a sudden

Featured Replies

Guys need some help please. I have Sab and and sickbeard running for the past year without a single problem on a 320gig cache drive.

All of a sudden I came back home after being awya this weekend to a bunch of error in sab. Turns out that my cache drive is 100% full and has 0 gigs free according to the unraid main page. Can someone help me out with this? What could have happened? Is stuff not being moved for some reason and being deleted after?

Would really appreciate some help.

Running unraid 5.0.3 recently upgraded...

the only thing i can think of is make sure that the mover script is set to run (may have been unset somehow) and/or force it to run. you can also try browsing the folders and see which one is taking up a lot of space.. if you have apps installed on your cache drive, maybe logs? failed downloads taking up space?

I'm not sure how to do any of those things. I tried to delete all of the incomplete and complete data on thsabnzbd data folder but I am getting a permission error I think. I just got a mac so I'm still unsure of how to use temrinal...

But can someone remind me how to change permissions so I can delete stuff? I forget the exact string to type. Chmod 777 or something...

Also, how do I check if the mover has been disabled? I never messed with anyhting so I don't know. Also I see a lot of files in the "complete" data sabnzbd folder still on the cache for some reason not not erased?

Here is the log after I forced "move"

Nothing is really happening. and I can't seem to delete the contents of the sabnzbd data folder. I think that is what built  up.

But isn't it supposed to automatically delete the files after unzipped and moved?

Syslog would help:

On your mac use the TERMINAL program.  (In /Applications/Utilities).

type: telnet  IP-ADDRESS

where 'IP-ADDRESS' is the address of unRAID (something like 192.168.1.5)

You'll be prompted for userid and password..default is 'root'.

You might also consider adding  Dynamix or unMENU to your plugins...both have web interfaces to the Mover and to the Syslog.

Are any of your drives full? It's funny because I found a similar issue yesterday.. one of my TV drives hit 100% but because of my split level settings and it kept trying to put it there and failing. Found almost a weeks worth of TV on my cache drive.

unRAID settings / share settings

If you run the mover manually it resets the settings to monthly - run it manually then change it back to daily and APPLY.
